Mole Valley kindly donated a Christmas Tree to the school. The children had fun making the christmas decorations and decorating the tree. It looks lovely and we all loved seeing the finished tree in the playground with the wonderful handmade decorations using up cycled materials. A massive thank you to Mole Valley
The children held their two minute silence at the entrance to the Church around the memorial Cross. They were all fabulous and listened carefully to the significance of the Poppy and afterwards several reflected on what they thought about during the silence.

The children held their Easter Service this week on Wednesday 3rd April. It was lovely to see the church so packed for this special celebration. The children at Berkley spent the morning learning more about the bible stories of Easter. They worked in mixed age groups for this wow session and thoroughly enjoyed learning and acting out the stories. They experienced six different workshops and reflected on the meaning of Easter.
Mrs Hooper took the children to St Mary’s Family Service 17th March 2019. The children were fantastic and spoke confidently. Thank you to Mrs Hooper and Mrs White for rehearsing with the children. It was lovely to see so many people joining the congregation. Thanks to all the children, staff and parents that attended.
All the children dressed up in their favourite book characters. They started the day sharing their costumes and books in a special book assembly. They then completed lots of book based activities in the classroom. Great fun was had by all! World Book Day
