Admissions

Admissions to our school are in line with the Local Authority admissions policy. SEND provision, the needs of looked after children, distance from the school and siblings at the school are taken into consideration if places are oversubscribed. Parents should contact the Local Authority to find out about the admission arrangements.

In common with schools across Somerset, admissions to the Reception year are administered by the Local Authority. As a VA School the Governors are responsible for the the Schools Admissions. Arrangements for selecting pupils who apply and the school’s ‘over subscription’ criteria is all available in the schools admissions policy please see below.

Applications will need to be submitted to the Local Authority before their published deadlines. The deadlines and application process is available on the Somerset County Council web site.

Also admissions during a school year and admissions to all other year groups are processed by the Local Authority but please use the in year application form on the web site.
