Trees For Our Future

What a brilliant morning we had with the year 1 and Year 2 pupils helping to plant the woodland this morning. Frome Town Council workers met us and explained that what we were about to do was very important for the town, the wildlife and for lots of people who haven't been born yet! We were part of a historic event! We planted many different tree saplings including Oak, Maple, Birch and Hornbeam which are all colour coded. Berkley School have planted four different squares of the woodland with the following what three words codes for you to google and find if you would like to:

All the children worked really hard in their teams and were treated to some biscuits and a walk down to see the river. We also used our British Value of Democracy and voted for which playground equipment we would like to see there in the future!
