Science Week – A Visit from a Farmer

To kick off Science Week, we welcomed a local farmer who came to share what life is really like on a farm. He posed a big question to the children: “What would happen if we didn’t have farmers?” The children impressed him with their thoughtful and knowledgeable answers, showing a great understanding of how important farming is to our everyday lives.

They also had plenty of questions of their own, and enjoyed finding out more about animals, crops, and the day‑to‑day work that keeps a farm running. It was a brilliant start to the week and sparked lots of curiosity!
