Our Field to Food Learning Day

We had an amazing time at the Field to Food Learning Day, where we learnt all about farming and how food makes its journey from the farm to our plates.

The children enjoyed a hands-on learning experience, discovering where our food comes from and finding out more about the hard work, care and dedication that farmers put into producing the food we eat. Through seeing, hearing, smelling and getting stuck in, the children were able to explore farming in a fun and memorable way.

It was a fantastic opportunity to develop our understanding of British farming, food production and the importance of knowing where our food comes from. We came away with a greater appreciation of the farmers who work hard to provide us with fresh, high-quality food every day. We also met lots of the community who support our farmers too. 

A huge thank you to everyone who organised and supported this wonderful day and the lovely ladies Lisa and Sue who were our tour guides ! It was an amazing experience, and we learnt so much!
