The whole school visited Chew Valley lake to carry out a nature walk. The Lake is well known for its nature and its birds, including internationally important numbers of wildfowl. The children enjoyed walking around the lake investigating and were excited to complete all the tasks that were set. KS 1 and KS 2 were set separate tasks and the children all enjoyed meeting up after their walk to discuss their findings and enjoy a picnic and ice lolly together before returning to school.
It was a fantastic day out.
