Wow! On Monday the children returned to school to find that something had visited the school during the half term break. An emergency assembly was called where the children were given detective sheets and they all made their way round the site collecting clues as to what had created such a mess! Footprints in Rabbits classroom, bones and feathers in Squirrels, a large ‘POO’! in Badgers and a nest containing the remains of an eggshell in Owls! All around the site there was slime and pieces of colourful fur, feathers and footprints. What had been here? The children had a great time creating a drawing and writing a description of what they thought the creature could look like. They all had great ideas about where and why it had visited us. Great fun was definitely had by all!
