On Tuesday 9th February we celebrated Safer Internet Day. During the day we centred the children’s learning today around the safe, responsible and positive use of digital technology for children and young people.
The day started with a whole school assembly where the school council performed a short play on how to keep safe when using the internet. The children then completed several different activities in their classrooms. The children have all had a fantastic day and have all taken part in a competition to design a ‘How to keep safe on the Internet’ poster. Each class will have a winner and the winner’s poster will be made into covers for our school ipads.
Mia and Katie also prepared a powerpoint presentation at home to share with the children at school during the assembly.
