Green Day
During our Green Day on recycling we looked at what can be recycled, the journey of recycling and what happens to the things we recycle. The children sorted a collection of ‘rubbish’ into recycle bins,sorted ferrous and non -ferrous metals by using a magnet and looked at the different recycling marks on the bottom of different materials. Some children made posters to help us remember to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. In the afternoon each class made splendid Christmas decorations, using the recycled materials kindly donated by parents. These were sold at the Christmas Fayre to raise money to sponsor Vinanny from Burundi.
