Easter Service

We had a lovely service that was organised and run completely by the year 4 children.  They wanted to focus on the Easter story this year and read out the story in parts to the school and its community. They designed a beautiful large cross which they decorated with signs of new life and parts of the Easter story. Al the children were asked to make palm leaves in order to decorate the pews in the church.  The children all prepared songs to sing throughout the service.  Year 3’s wrote some beautiful prayers which they read out in groups.  The recorders played very confidently and the two choirs sang some lovely songs.
