A visit from a wildlife photographer.

On Monday we had a world renowned wildlife photographer Iain Green in to work with the children. We had a whole school assembly where he talked about his work taking photographs of animals from all over the world and he showed us some of his pictures. He told us how you have to be very patient waiting for the right shot and that he had waited eight years and lots of visits to number 10 Downing Street to see some baby birds leave the nest.He then came to each class throughout the day and taught us how to take photographs of the wildlife and our environment. We went on the school field and church yard to take photographs. We took photographs at all angles and from different aspects looking for shape, form and pattern. Here are some of the photographs we took. If you would like to see some more of Iain Green’s work you can see some on his website.
